ChangeSafe for Jira Privacy Policy
This policy explains how ChangeSafe for Jira processes information while providing read-only Jira impact analysis.
1. Scope
This policy applies to ChangeSafe for Jira.
2. Product architecture
ChangeSafe is built on Atlassian Forge and is designed as a read-only Jira administration and field-impact analysis app.
3. Information processed
Depending on the analysis, ChangeSafe may process Jira information needed to provide its functionality, including supported custom-field metadata, Jira project and configuration metadata, screens, contexts, filters, dashboards, workflows, issue or custom-field usage information, and user, group or project-role information where required by Jira APIs and permission models. This does not mean all such information is permanently stored.
4. Purpose of processing
Information is processed only to provide ChangeSafe functionality such as dependency analysis, stored-value analysis, planned-action assessment, administrative context and evidence generation.
5. External storage
ChangeSafe does not maintain a separate external customer-data database for Jira End-User Data.
6. External application server
ChangeSafe does not operate an external application server for its core Jira analysis functionality.
7. Data egress
ChangeSafe is designed without intentional external customer-data egress.
8. Analytics and advertising
ChangeSafe does not use third-party advertising or third-party customer-behavior analytics within the app.
9. Credentials
ChangeSafe does not require customers to provide Atlassian passwords, Personal Access Tokens or API tokens.
10. Logging
ChangeSafe is designed not to intentionally record Jira issue or customer content in application logs. Atlassian Forge may create technical or operational logs as part of platform operation.
11. Data retention
ChangeSafe does not maintain an independent external Jira customer-data repository. Atlassian's own platform handling and retention are governed by Atlassian's applicable terms and policies.
